Dexter
Looking for a cuddle bug and a partner in crime? Look no further! Dexter is shy at first with new people but once he is comfy, he will be your shadow. You can always find him nearby, ready to be your sidekick for all adventures ahead. During quiet times, he will sneak up and curl up next to you on the sofa.
He is very playful with other dogs and would love to have a friend. He loves to play fetch and will return the ball (most of the time). In the house, he is just as happy to find a spot in the house to chew on durable toys. He does live with cats but also tries to play with them; therefore, only dog savvy cats are recommended for this boy!
Dexter is still in the learning phase. We are working on house training and it is going well. His crate training is also coming along with a little protest on his part. Dex is smart and food motivated which makes training a fun activity for everyone. He has learned the basic commands and is learning to walk on leash without pulling. We are looking for adopters willing to take him to positive-reinforcement training classes.
