Strayah

If you’re looking for a little couch potato to spend your days with, look no further! Strayah is a very sweet, easy going dog. She enjoys attention and likes to be with her people.

Strayah is a lower energy dog, but enjoys walks around the neighbourhood to sniff the grass and leaves. She walks very well on leash and doesn’t pull. She barks at other dogs while on leash, but is very easily redirected.

Strayah gets sad when left alone and will howl for a little bit before settling herself, so she requires a home where this wouldn’t be an issue. She is good in her crate for a few hours and is not destructive. She is fully house trained and hasn’t had a single accident in her foster home. She would prefer a forever home where she won’t be left alone for a full workday, 5 days a week.

Strayah gets along with other dogs and loves to play! She is currently living with both a large breed and small breed dog and gets along great with both. She also lives with cats and has no interest in them.

Strayah is good with kids, but older children in the home would be ideal as she does get uncomfortable with a lot of noise and movement. She can be nervous around new men, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up once she knows them. Strayah is a fantastic dog that would make a great companion!
