Isabella
Are you looking for a cuddly, large breed beauty to add to your active lifestyle? Izzy is your gal! She is very much still a puppy and would love to learn so many more tricks in her forever home. Izzy is looking for a patient family, willing to bring her to obedience classes to help her bond with her people and learn what is expected of her. She is crate trained and house trained, but sometimes has little accidents when nervous or excited. This should decrease as she becomes more comfortable in her environment. She can be crated or left loose in a room when alone for up to a full work day.
The ideal home for Isabella would be active, quite, patient, and experienced! Due to her insecurities, Izzy needs a young kid-free and cat free home. She loves attention and cuddles. Looking for a large lap dog? Izzy is available for duty!
She will use her voice when alert and will need her people to advocate in these scenarios by giving her a moment to warm up before relaxing in. She initially barks at dogs while on leash, but once she trusts the other dog, she is a very happy and playful gal. She respects her sibling’s space and boundaries well and will happily play on her own when needed. Izzy’s favourite part of the day is running around her secure backyard with her foster sister. For this reason, a private fenced-in yard is a requirement for her.
Izzy knows how to sit, lay down, and wait for her food. She is not a fan of the car, so more positive exposure to car rides would be great for her!
