Amika

Amika is happy go lucky and usually pretty outgoing with people. She quickly warms up to strangers but can be apprehensive if the stranger is loud. Amika is looking for a quiet environment for her forever home.

Amika is nervous of other dogs and is hesitant when meeting them, she would prefer not to meet other dogs and wants to be the only dog in her forever home. Amika has not been tested with cats in our care, she would prefer to live in a cat free home. Amika loves people and meeting strangers she enjoys all the attention she can get, she would prefer to be in a house with older children. Amika is a medium energy well rounded dog, she loves going for her walks and loves cuddling and lounging on the couch.

Amika is working on her crate training but is stressed an anxious about it, she has been left loose in the house alone and is not destructive. Amika is fully potty trained. Amika can be reactive on leash towards other dogs. She does not enjoy being left alone for long periods of time but can be home alone 5 to 6 hours at a time. Amika does great in the car.

Amika loves to chase tennis balls and snow balls. She loves to zoom around in the snow but gets chilly after a while. She is an easy going girl who is happy to go with the flow of her forever family.
