Martha May

Martha May is nothing short of extraordinary. Exceptionally intelligent, she picks up on expectations quickly but enjoys testing limits—requiring firm yet loving boundaries. Once boundaries are set, she follows them diligently. She’s a loyal shadow, content to stay at your feet while you cook, tinker, or relax. While she thrives on attention and affection, she’s also independent enough to entertain herself when left alone. Martha May is ideal for an active family or an individual with an on-the-go lifestyle. She’s a versatile adventurer who loves car rides, forest walks, and any opportunity to follow her humans. A rare gem, she’ll shower her forever family with endless love and loyalty. Martha May would do well living with another dog or a dog savvy cat but neither are required. Martha May would do well living with dog savvy children.

Martha May is a part of the Cat in the Hat litter.  We do not know who the dad is, but mom is Sally who is 19lbs. The pups were born in our care and have been wonderful to raise.  These puppies are not house or leash trained and will need a home committed to helping them with developing their socialization skills in the world.  They love to chew, play, and cause moments of chaos followed by moments of pure joy! A puppy is a lot of work so please do include in your application your plan to help your puppy be the best she can be and be sure you have the time and commitment to bring a puppy home.  Hint: we will be prioritizing homes committed to take their new pup to positive reinforcement training classes.
