Poppy
Poppy is a beautiful little fur ball, who is curious, smart and friendly. She is expressive and quite the explorer. She loves to be outside! Poppy is still very much a typical puppy, and she is looking for a family that will help her build on her potty training. She can be a bit nippy but is easily redirected with toys and bones. She is working on her crate training and is crated during the day when her foster family is at work. She still needs a midday pee break though. Poppy sleeps in a crate at night with a blanket to cover her. She is making strides in getting through the whole night without requiring a quick trip outside for a pee.
Poppy loves to play and interact with toys, dogs and people. When she meets new people, she is overwhelmed with excitement and can be bouncy! She would benefit from a fenced yard because this girl is an active dog. She is always looking for a way outside, so she will need to be carefully watched around doors to the outside.
She would love a home that has kids and another playful dog. Poppy lives with little kids and doesn’t seem to mind their fast movements and loud voices. She enjoys car rides, and with her love for the outdoors, she would make an excellent adventure dog!
Poppy enjoys going for walks, but her family is going to have to help her learn and work on her leash manners.
If you have room on your couch and in your car for one more, please fill out the application for rollie-poly Poppy!
