Aston

Aston is an easygoing and goofy guy once he feels comfortable with his people. He is eager to please, is cuddly and affectionate, and is always happy to be with his pack. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once reassured that he is safe, he is happy to give kisses and cuddles.

Aston loves dogs and looks to them for guidance and security. He requires another confident, well-balanced dog in the home. Aston is on alert initially, but with proper slow introductions, he warms up to dogs, and they are quick to see his goofy playful side. Aston has not met a cat while in care, and we believe he would do best in a cat-free home.

Aston is nervous around new people initially, so he would do best in a home with teenagers or adults only. Aston is a medium energy guy. He loves to do zoomies in the morning and play with the dogs in the home. Aston is reactive on leash, and will bark and pull if he is left to his own devices. To enjoy walks the most, this wonderful guy requires a quieter neighborhood for his forever home.

Aston is fully crate and potty trained and can be crated for a full work day. Aston gets very excited when his people get home and often gets the zoomies out of excitement. He is a smart guy and food motivated which has made it easy to train him to sit, stay, and lie down. Aston has been working on his impulse control and excitement. He would love a family who can continue with his training. Aston is great in the car and is happy to go for a ride wherever that may be.

Aston loves with his whole heart. He absolutely loves hopping around in the snow, he loves toys, treats, cuddles and most of all, playing with his foster brother and sister.

Aston thoroughly enjoys walks in the forest and practicing his focus skills. He loves puzzles and brain games too! Once settled, Aston is the happiest goofball! He truly enjoys the little things in life and is the sweetest little nurturer. He loves to snuggle up with, or on top of his foster brother or sister, or even his people. He loves the warmth from the fireplace after having the zoomies in the snow. He has the most expressive eyes and will truly melt anyone’s heart.
