Willow

Willow is the perfect combination of playful adventure seeker while outside and lazy couch potato inside. She loves to go on walks and explore but once inside she prefers to  lounge around. She loves being around her people and will follow you around to see what you are up to. She loves to meet new people and is quick to accept affection once she meets someone new.

Willow is interested in dogs, when on walks she loves to say hello. Her play style is exuberant and sometimes rude so slow intros are best with other dogs. Willow would also have no problem being an only dog. Willow has not met a cat while in care, she would do best in a cat free home. Willow loves attention, she would be happy living with older dog savvy kids. Willow is a medium energy girl, she loves her walks and runs around the yard and inside she loves a good snuffle mat or puzzle toy.

Willow is fully crate trained but she does not love it and can be reluctant to go in. She will whine initially then settle and can do a full 8 hours in her crate but she does prefer to have her people home more often. Willow is fully potty trained. Willow has excellent house manners! She responds well to her name and can sit, shake a paw and lie down. She responds to “on your bed” and will stay until released with an “okay” and a hand gesture pointing off the bed that she can leave. When presented with her food dish, she will sit and wait for an “okay” before she eats. She has never once barked in the house and despite being super excited when guests arrive she will stay on her bed sometimes shaking with excitement until she is allowed to say hello. She is working hard on not jumping on people and if ignored if she forgets, she quickly remembers to sit to be pet. Willow would love a family who can continue with her house training. Willow does well in the car.

Willow is a total sweetheart with the most adorable one ear up and one ear down. She loves to be part of the action, and wherever you are, she wants to be – unless, of course, it is past her bedtime, as she has been known to put herself to bed when it gets late. Looking for a good girl and an adorable shadow, then Willow is your girl
