Meet Spot! A super happy guy that is looking for his forever family – could that be you?

Spot is a very well-behaved dude. As much as he loves to play, either with other dogs, or entertaining himself with toys – he LOVES toys – he can also snuggle up on the couch and watch your favourite movie with the family. Being that he is still a puppy at around 11 months old, he does get curious about new things, for example house plants, but redirects well and is learning boundaries well.

Spot is house trained, and will remain clean in his crate over night and during a work day. He does not have separation anxiety but does very much enjoy being involved and prefers to be near his people. Spot is also super food motivated which will help with any future training.

Spot is low to medium energy. He is fairly calm in the home and will play with toys in between naps. But given the opportunity to play with another dog or go for a walk, he is up for it!

Spot is super friendly and very social, loves to play with other dogs. When introduced to the current home dog he was very social, when a 2nd foster was introduced after his arrival, he had slight jealousy that was easily corrected. When he had a puppy playdate on neutral ground, he was happy as a clam and played well. Spot loves other dogs, but proper introductions are important.

Spot would enjoy another playful dog to play with, but is not always quick to realize when the other dog wants a break, so a patient dog would be best. He would also be just as happy as the only dog, provided he gets lots of love and snuggles from his humans.
