Tigger

Looking to add a little bounce to your life? Tigger is a fun-loving, energetic young dog who is super smart and enjoys life to the fullest.

Like all Tiggers past and present, Tigger lives her life with a lot of exclamation points. Mopping, exciting! Making dinner, fabulous! Going for a walk, oh boy! Her zest for life is bound to put a smile on your face a few times a day. Sometimes that excitement spills over a little too much, so she needs a family that will nurture her spirit while giving her some boundaries to keep her polite. Tigger adores other dogs, but she can have an unmannerly approach and is overwhelming to dogs who don’t want to play. We think she’d be good with either another ruggedly playful dog or a laid-back dog who is able to establish boundaries; she could also be an only dog, but would love to have playdates with other well-matched friends.

Tigger is working on her manners, including her leash walking skills, of which she is doing well. She very enthusiastically will show you her sit and down and she’s always looking forward to learning more and pleasing you with her smarts!  She has also shown a great aptitude for solving puzzles to get those yummy treats. She enthusiastically goes into her crate for feeding and is generally happy with a chew. She does complain (barks) at times about being left in her crate so any home must consider this. Tigger can be a bit shy of strangers at first, but she warms up quickly if they speak kindly and have treats.

Tigger loves her people and is down for a good snuggle at the end of the day.   Overall, this gal is a happy, active and very sweet lady, who is looking forward to finding her forever people!
