Cosmo
Cosmo is the definition of a velcro dog. He loves to love on his people, climbing on them at any opportunity for closeness. He is house trained and crate trained though will use his hound voice to show his dissatisfaction when he wants to!
In true beagle style, Cosmo enjoys following his nose, taking in all the smells around him, scavenging for snacks, and working on new tricks. He is a smart dude who would benefit from ongoing scent training classes, agility, or at-home brain games!
Cosmo likes playing with the other dogs in the home, but sometimes needs help initiating a settled mindset. Once reminded, he is able to chill out and cuddle for good snoozes with his pack. Cosmo could live in a home with other tolerant dogs, or as a solo dog. Cosmo has not met cats while in care so we are looking for a cat-free home.
Cosmo prefers walks over car rides but more exposure with time could help him be a better travel buddy. He is social with people but would prefer a kid-free home so all the attention can be on him! He has some sensitivities with being touched when he doesn’t want to be, so pushy and handsy kids are not a match for him.
