Umber

Umber is a social butterfly who thrives on human companionship. Whether you’re lounging on the couch or hitting the trails for an outdoor adventure, Umber will be right by your side. He loves to shower his people with kisses.

One of Umber’s favorite pastimes is going for car rides. He’s always up for a road trip adventure.  Just be careful – Umber’s enthusiasm for car rides is so infectious that he’s been known to try to hop into strangers’ vehicles during walks!

Umber has spent a lot of time with the neighbors 3 cats and is respectful of their space (though certainly curious each time he sees them after being away). He is very food motivated, prioritizing the next treat over other furry friends. Umber has made doggie friends and is good with play. He’s house and crate trained.

Umber does have separation anxiety but his foster dad has it under control with a very specific routine. It will be important that his adoptive family continues to follow the routine to ensure a smooth transition for Umber.
