This little nut is ready to find her life of fun! That’s right. She is the poster pup for fun and play and play and fun, but also lots of cuddles, please! And if you are busy, no problem at all cause she will just run around and toss her toy to herself! She actually enjoys being safely picked up and cuddled up to you, and even places her body in your hand when you lower it to offer a lift up. She just erupts in wiggles when she knows you want to shower her with attention. It’s the cutest.
After a play or walk, she will sneak up on your lap when you are not looking and will nuzzle in for a nap. If you are not around, she will curl up with another dog and can even be caught sharing a dog bed with another pooch if they will allow it. She loves to just curl up like a cat, and is even smaller than one at this point!
She is doing well with housetraining with frequent breaks outside, and positive reinforcement is working! We know she would love to spend her days with her people, maybe a retired couple or work from home (or hybrid) set-up. Of course, in your absence, an x-pen set up with a comfy bed will be a reasonable plan.
Nikita is such a happy soul, and just being around her makes you feel happier. She worships her people, and her love of food makes her such a wonderful buddy to teach. She’s really awesome!

- Fenced Yard: Ideal. A privately owned yard space is required.
- Special: This puppy would benefit from a midday break to help with housetraining. Hybrid work schedule could work but she will need to work up to the full day to be fully housetrained. We are looking for a home in or around the Ottawa-Gatineau area as she has standard outstanding vet care covered by the adoption fee remaining to complete at our vet in West Ottawa, which a new home will be required to attend. If you are slightly outside this area and willing to travel, we will consider your application. None of our dogs are candidates for public dog parks due to risk, so if these are important to you, please do not apply.
