Bourbon

Bourbon is a character, she loves all people she meets and is guaranteed to provide a lot of laughter material with her goofy energetic personality. She is still young and can get into mischief like grabbing things she shouldn’t but with those gorgeous green eyes you can’t help but forgive her.

Bourbon loves dogs and gets along well with them, she is a playful girl and any dog in the home would have to be ok with her trying to engage in play. Bourbon lives with three cats and does well but she also tries to get them to play with her and sometimes chases them to play. If she were to go to a home with a cat it would have to be a dog savvy cat. Bourbon loves people but is bouncy and excited in her greeting, she would do best with older sturdier children in the home. Bourbon is a medium to high energy dog, she requires at least 45 minutes of exercise per day. She loves to run around and have the zoomies. With practice Bourbon could make an excellent jogging partner.

Bourbon is fully potty trained and crate trained. She may give off a few cries in protest when her parents leave the house but she quickly settles down. She can also do full workdays in her crate. Bourbon is a smart girl and very food motivated. Her foster family has been working on teaching her tricks and commands, she would benefit greatly from a family who will continue with her training and bring her to positive reinforcement training classes. Bourbon does great in the car.

Bourbon loves to hike, walk, and be out and about with her people. She loves to play with her fur buddies and her favorite is tug. After a full day of playing Bourbon loves to cuddle up next to her people. She is still understanding the idea of personal space and thinks she’s a lap dog but again how can you say no to a face like that.
