This little cutie-pie is ready to find his adventurous family and fun-filled life! He is full of happy energy and ready for games. He loves play time, cuddle time, nap time, repeat! If you are interested in fun dog sports it would be a great activity for him. He can entertain himself with a toy, a ball, a puzzle and sometimes a slipper (uh-oh!) so you can keep busy working!
He is really smart and would love to play games with you and learn new tricks/skills. He plays hard but just as quickly, naps hard. Casper really enjoys a cuddle when gently picked up or he might climb up beside you, and dive nose-first, to make himself comfortable across your lap.
He is doing well with housetraining with frequent breaks outside, and positive reinforcement is working! We know he would love to spend his days with his people, maybe a retired couple or work from home (or hybrid) set-up. Of course, in your absence, an x-pen set up with a comfy bed will be a reasonable plan. He also is doing well in his crate, which he considers his bedroom, so meals and great toys are available for him to enjoy all the time.
Casper is such a goofy soul, with his black shorts and wiggly bum just being around him can make you feel happier. He worships his people, and his love of food makes him such a wonderful buddy to teach.

- Special: This puppy would benefit from a midday break to help with housetraining. Hybrid work schedule could work but he will need to work up to the full day to be fully housetrained. We are looking for a home in or around the Ottawa-Gatineau area as she has standard outstanding vet care, covered by the adoption fee, remaining to complete at our vet in West Ottawa, which a new home will be required to attend. If you are slightly outside this area and willing to travel, we will consider your application. None of our dogs are candidates for public dog parks due to risk, so if these are important to you, please do not apply.
