This joyful cuddle bug is ready to find his life of fun! That’s right. He is the poster pup for fun and play and more play and cuddles! And if you are busy, no problem at all cause he will just run around and toss his toy to himself! He enjoys cuddling with you, and even places his body in your hands when you lower them to offer a lift up. He just erupts in wiggles when he knows you want to shower him with attention. He’s the cutest.
After a play or walk, he will sneak up on your lap when you are not looking and will nuzzle in for a nap. If you are not around, he will curl up with another dog and can even be caught sharing a dog bed with another pooch if they will allow it. He loves to just lie across your lap and is even willing to bend himself backwards to make sure he fits.
He is doing well with housetraining with frequent breaks outside! We know he would love to spend his days with his people, maybe a retired couple or work from home (or hybrid) set-up. Of course, in your absence, an x-pen set up with a comfy bed will be a reasonable plan. He also is doing well in his crate, which he considers his bedroom, so meals and great toys are available for him to enjoy all the time.
Cruz is such a happy soul, and just being around him makes you feel happier. He worships his people, and his love of food makes him such a wonderful buddy to teach.

- Special: This puppy would benefit from a midday break to help with housetraining. Hybrid work schedule could work but he will need to work up to the full day to be fully housetrained. We are looking for a home in or around the Ottawa-Gatineau area as she has standard outstanding vet care, covered by the adoption fee, remaining to complete at our vet in West Ottawa, which a new home will be required to attend. If you are slightly outside this area and willing to travel, we will consider your application. None of our dogs are candidates for public dog parks due to risk, so if these are important to you, please do not apply.
