Dominic
Dominic is a sweet and silly as they come! He is a curious, energetic and playful puppy who is ready to wiggle his way into your heart and home!
This guy loves to be around his people and is excited to meet new ones as well! He can be shy in larger groups of people at first but will warm up quickly. He loves a good nap, preferably on your lap or in his crate, but when he’s awake he is an active and sweet puppy who loves to run and chase and play with his toys.
Dominic is doing very well with his house training but is not the biggest fan of the cold weather (can you blame him?) and be a little stubborn about going outside if it’s really cold. He sometimes still has small accidents in the house but he has learned to let his foster parents know when he needs to go outside. If it’s cold though he prefers to do his business quickly and then return to the warm inside where he can cuddle on the couch.
Dominic loves his crate as it is his safe place and he will quietly sleep there through the night. He can also be left for up to 3 hours as he still needs a midday potty break, otherwise he may cry a little when left too long. He is respectful of furniture and chewing on things he shouldn’t. Dominic is very smart and would love a family who is committed to taking him to puppy school.
Dominic does not currently live with kids or dogs but he did previously live with a younger child who he was very respectful of so we believe that he could live with dog-savvy children. He finds larger, barking dogs a little intimidating but he might do well with a playmate who is closer to his size and friendly. He has not been introduced to cats.
Dominic loves car rides and would likely enjoy warm weather adventures with his new family! Dominic is a lovely and cuddly little guy who is looking for a forever family to love him and teach him all about the world! Could that be you?
