Duggie
Goofy boy Duggie-dooo is ready to find his people. He is a fun-loving, food-loving, life-loving little dude. He can be a bit shy in new situations, but bring out the treats and Duggies knows the party has started. He is eager to please and wants to make the right decisions especially when food is the reward. After a medium amount of play and fun, Duggie is keen to climb up next to you for a cuddle, where he will nuzzle into your lap and appreciate any amount of love you’d like to share.
He is doing well with his housetraining, and reinforcing his choices to go outside is making the learning so much better. He is also doing great with his crate training and runs in at night for bedtime. He can make it up to 6 hours on some days, so he is definitely doing great on learning to be independent.
Dugg-a-dugg loves his nicknames and comes hopping towards you whenever you call. He is playful and runs in the yard with so much gusto! He adores all of the dogs in his home, happily interacting with them, or leaving them alone if they are not interested in puppy antics. Of course, he does get those puppy zoomies which can bother some older dogs, but they come and go pretty quickly, so you just have to watch out in case he chooses to parkour off of you when in the zoom-zone. This guy is so happy and with guidance and positive reinforcement, his people will help him become such a well-rounded sweet guy.

Like all puppies, Duggie will need training support, including leash skills, as well as crate and house training and social skills. Puppies need a lot of your time and attention, so please be sure that your life allows for the dedication this little life needs. He will definitely make sure he gives you all of his love and devotion, and he deserves just as much in return!

- Special: This puppy would benefit from a midday break to help with housetraining. Hybrid work schedule could work but he will need to work up to the full day to be fully housetrained. We are looking for a home in or around the Ottawa-Gatineau area as he has outstanding vet care covered by the adoption fee remaining to complete at our vet in West Ottawa, which a new home will be required to attend. If you are slightly outside this area and willing to travel, we will consider your application.
