Flair

Flair lives up to her name, when she decides to do something she goes all in. She has exceptional style and tolerates a cute bandana when one is put on her. Flair is young and can get into mischief by stealing things that aren’t toys like Kleenex or hairclips etc. but you cannot help but forgive her with a face as cute as hers.

Flair loves dogs, she gets excited meeting them on leash and wants to play. She would be happy to live in a home with another playful dog or have regular doggy playdates with friends if she is an only dog in the home. Flair has met cats while on her walks, she gets excited and wants to play. She could with slow intros live with a dog savvy cat. Flair lives with three kids and loves the attention and extra playtime. Flair would be happy to live with dog savvy kids. Flair is a medium energy dog, she loves her walks and run time on a long lead at the park. Her foster parents are training her to be a jogging buddy, she is catching on well and would make a great jogging buddy.

Flair is crate trained and almost potty trained. She will have the odd accident in the house but she has learned to go to the back door to signal she has to go to the bathroom and if you are not paying attention she can get a bit vocal to tell you she has to go to the bathroom. Flair can do overnight in her crate and 5 hours during the day in her crate, she is still young but with some more practice she would be fine to be left a whole work day. Flair is very smart, her foster family has taught her the commands sit, come, down, shake a paw, turn around, leave it, and they are working on off and stay. Flair would love to continue training with a family who will take her to positive reinforcement training classes, she is also very agile and would enjoy agility training. Flair is also very food motivated.
