Hubbard

Hubbard is a very easy going boy. He is eager to please and very food motivated. When meeting new people Hubbard can be cautious and stay back until he can get in a good sniff, treats help him warm up quicker. Hubbard just wants to be near his people when he can and be included in the fun activities.

Hubbard loves dogs and is very playful, he would benefit from another playful dog in the home. Hubbard has met a few cats while in foster care, he does not react to them, with slow intros and a dog savvy cat Hubbard could live with a cat. Hubbard has met young children, he was very appropriate with them. Hubbard could live with dog savvy kids. Hubbard is a medium to high energy pup, he loves his long walks and outdoor playtimes. When bored he can get a bit mischievous but with proper exercise and brain stimulation toys like kongs Hubbard is a very happy good boy. With practice Hubbard could make a good jogging partner.

Hubbard is fully potty trained. Hubbard is not crate trained, he enjoys being in his crate with the door open but gets stressed when the door is closed. When his foster parents are away they put Hubbard in a closed room with his crate with the door open and can happily stay home alone for a full work day. Hubbard has obedience training experience, he would love a family who can continue his training. Hubbard does great in the car.
