Kirsty

Kirsty is the mom to little Platypus.  She came into care chubby, but turns out she had a little baby growing!  She was a great mom, but now it is time for her to shine with her own person or couple.  She is a super loving and devoted dog, and will happily be your lap blanket for all of the days of her life!  She can be a bit needy, so a home with structure and predictable routine would be fantastic.  She is learning about crate training and it is going well, unless she needs to go outside in which case, she will complain!  She is still not super comfortable out and about on leash, but she is learning if you bring along some good treats.  She’s super food motivated.
She does play nicely with other dogs once comfortable, but like most momma dogs, will let another dog know appropriately if she feels they are being rude.  She is really looking for a home to treat her with kindness and patience as she learns all about what it means to be loved.  She’s a bit shy, but tell her you like cuddles and she’s likely to fall madly in love with you.
Don’t wait to let this gal into your home and heart!
