Otis
We are so excited to introduce Otis!
This sweet guy has been waiting for his chance to find his forever home!
Just like the Otis Redding song 🎵 Sitting on the dock of the bay 🎵, our boy Otis loves to sit and chill in the morning sun but don’t let his age fool you! Otis is only middle aged for a beagle and still loves to walk and sniff and explore! The great part about his age though is that he is a medium energy boy who also loves to just chill at home with his favourite people.
Otis has spent a lot of time with kids (aged 4-11) in his foster home and he adores them! He also loves to go for walks with his dog friends and use his sniffer to meet new humans and new pups along the way! In true hound fashion, Otis’ nose leads the way which can sometimes lead to eating things he shouldn’t. His new family would have to be aware of this and make sure all yummy and edible foods are out of reach (he has learned to open cabinets so he’s a smart boy).
Otis is house trained can be left at home alone for up to 5 hours approximately. He does well at home alone but would love to have someone let him out for the bathroom occasionally.
Otis had great manners and knows some basic obedience. He gets excited to meet new people (especially children) but shows great restraint in jumping up on them! He is a wonderful, sweet boy and we know his perfect family is out there!
Otis would love to find a home in a quiet neighbourhood where he can go on lots of walks, sniff and explore with new people friends!
Do you have room on your life and your heart for this sweet guy? He deserves a soft spot to land while he lives out his golden years!
