Phylis
Phyllis is an energetic little girl that loves her doggy foster brother and most dogs she meets. She has come so far from when she first came into the rescue, her tail was tucked so tightly under her and she would shake, but when a treat came out she warmed up quickly. She is a smart pup who has quickly learned the ropes around the house and several tricks to keep her active mind busy.
Phyllis loves the outdoors and runs to ring the bell to go out and speed around the backyard with her less energetic foster brother. She still has puppy energy and loves to chew so must be shown the appropriate things she can chew such as durable toys and nylabones. She is very food motivated and has learned some basic commands so far. A family that can continue with positive reinforcement and some dog training would be highly recommended. Phyllis would be an excellent dog for fun doggy sports like disc dog or agility as she is food motivated, fast and intelligent!
Phyllis has come so far with her house-training and almost never has an accident; she is crate trained but prefers to be out and about. Phyllis can stay in her crate without any accident for workday. In the evenings Phyllis is a cuddle bug and happily will snuggle by your lap or with the other furry family members. She is the sweetest little ball of energy that would make an active family happy.
Please note that preference will be given to a home that will continue with positive reinforcement training or dog training.
