Saje

Introducing Saje! She is the sweetest puppy through and through! She checks all of the puppy boxes; playful, happy and full of love and energy!

Saje has not met a human, dog or cat that she doesn’t love and doesn’t want to play with! She is an outgoing and friendly puppy with a dash of clumsy goofball thrown in for good measure. Saje just wants to be with her people and her current foster brother and while she has bursts of puppy energy, she is also happy cuddling on the couch or following her foster mom around the house.

Saje currently lives with another dog and would love another patient dog companion in her new home. She is still learning dog social cues so if she has a new dog sibling, they must be patient with her puppy antics and play style. She has met cats and tries to chase and play with them, she doesn’t always understand when they ask her to stop so a dog savvy cat is a must.

Saje is a smart cookie! Her house training is going well and she is no longer having accidents on the home. She will need an adopter who is committed to continue this training. She is also working on her crate training and is ok to be left for 2-3 hours at a time with proper exercise beforehand. She has found her voice and can be vocal when first left but generally settles after a little bit. She would do best in a home willing to continue her training, bring her to puppy school and continue her mental enrichment because she’s so smart and eager to learn. Saje currently knows basic obedience skills such as sit, fetch and give a paw. Her dedicated foster home continues to work on more commands with her.

Mostly Saje just loves to play and can happily entertain herself with toys. She is excellent on car rides and would make the best adventure companion.
