Sammy is a little timid around strangers, but with patience and kindness, she opens up and will bond deeply with her family. It may take a couple of days for her to feel safe, but once she trusts you, she’s a loyal companion who will follow you anywhere!
At home, Sammy is a quiet, easy going girl who enjoys her daily routine. She walks beautifully on a leash and is happy with 1-2 walks a day. Although she’s not fond of cold winter weather or rain, she’ll happily settle in for cozy snuggles after a stroll. Sammy is food-motivated and knows how to sit, making training a breeze.

She is looking for a home in the Ottawa/Gatineau area who can attend outstanding vet appointments at our vet in West Ottawa to complete her outstanding vetting. She is not a candidate for dog parks so if these are important to you, please do not apply.
