Introducing Stevie Wonder! Affectionately known as Stevie, this sweet, smart and playful boy is ready to find his forever home!

Stevie is a classic puppy! He loves to love, he plays at 110% and he naps hard! While he can be shy at first in new situations he quickly comes out of his shell, especially if treats are involved!

Stevie is so smart! He learns very quickly and has already mastered many commands with the help of his dedicated foster parents! He is also extremely food motivated, making him an excellent candidate for further training, dog sports etc. He is still working on his potty training so having someone who is able to give him a mid day break would be ideal for the next little bit. Priority will be given to families who are committed to working on his house training and who would be willing to bring him to puppy training or obedience training classes.

As a puppy, Stevie is a medium energy boy. He loves to play and wrestle with both his dog mom (who he still lives with currently) and with his human foster parents. He also loves to go on short walks and explore. As he becomes more of a teenager, his energy levels may increase and would likely love longer walks, hikes and adventures!

Like all puppies, Stevie learns with his mouth. Having puppy appropriate chew options for Stevie will be very helpful! Otherwise he has been known to chew on things in the house that he shouldn’t. He is doing well with his crate training and is mostly quiet but he will whine a little bit at first. He doesn’t bark (yet) but he may find his voice in the future. He would benefit from having someone home with him more often at first while he adjusts to his new home.

As mentioned above, Stevie currently lives with his dog mom and has met other dogs as well. He is shy at first with new dogs but warms up quickly, especially with small/medium sized dogs. He would do well with another dog in the home with slow and proper introductions! Stevie does not live with children but he has met many and warms up to them very quickly and loves them! He would do very well in a family home with dog-savvy children. Stevie also loves car rides and would be a great companion for hikes and adventures!

Stevie is a happy-go-lucky, easy going puppy who loves to cuddle, nap and play! His foster mom says he is a fun-loving goofball with a heart of gold. He is guaranteed to steal your heart and never give it back! Stevie is so ready to find his perfect forever home and we know it’s out there! Could it be your home?
