Sugar

Sugar like her name is very sweet, happy, outgoing pup. She can be stubborn at times but overall she is a happy camper and loves the attention and affection from anyone and everyone.

Sugar is very friendly with other dogs and always tries to make friends with dogs on leash. She would love another playful buddy in the home or regular playdates with doggy friends. Sugar does not live with a cat but when she comes into contact with them when out and about she doesn’t show much interest in them. She could possibly live with a dog savvy cat with slow intros. Sugar loves kids and is very excited to interact with them, due to her exuberance we are asking for older dog savvy kids in the home. Sugar is medium energy with bouts of high energy, with practice she would make a great jogging partner. She loves to play fetch and can play all day but when it’s down time she loves a good nap and cuddle.

Sugar is crate trained and potty trained and is in her crate when her parents go out of the house for long periods at a time. Sugar is very obedient, she listens to basic commands but still struggles with the command lay down. She would love a family to bring her to positive reinforcement training classes. Sugar also has excellent house manners, she doesn’t get into anything or chew anything she shouldn’t and she is great at entertaining herself. Sugar does great in the car but is excited which gets her moving from window to window, she is calmer if she has something to entertain herself with. Sugar is fine being left alone for 6 to 7 hours at a time, she could likely do a full work day home alone.

Sugar is a sweetheart, she loves everyone she meets and is happy to accept cuddles or belly rubs from anyone. She is a very quiet girl unless she wants your attention where she will give off a low grumble to pay attention to her.
