Venisha

Venisha is easy going. She adapts quickly to her new environment and trusts quickly. She’s pretty confident but new sounds and bigger things (like trucks) take more time to warm up to (she is getting better with the vacuum!). Venisha is a typical puppy, she likes to test boundaries and is learning how to behave in the home.

Venisha likes other dogs and loves to play tug, chase around and play with other dogs. She could live with another dog or as a solo dog. Venisha has not met a cat, she could likely live with another cat so long as it is dog savvy. Venisha has met children and does well but she is a typical puppy and can be mouthy or jump up, older dog savvy children would be best. Venisha will grow into a medium energy dog, she loves to go for walks or run around on a long lead at the park.

Venisha is crate trained and doing well with potty training with rarely an accident recently. Venisha would prefer to have a mid-day break if her family works away from home full time. Venisha knows the command sit, she is very food motivated and excited about food. She would love a family who can take her to positive reinforcement training classes. Venisha is great in the car.

Venisha’s love language is physical touch. She prefers being close to her humans, and she loves to sleep on our legs while we work. She enjoys being carried around and rests her chin on our shoulder while we pat her back and help her fall asleep.
