Vesper
Vesper is fostered with a couple of his sisters, and he is such a happy guy who loves to play or do his own thing. He is not pushy at all, and while he does enjoy cuddles and play with his person, he is just as happy to curl up on a bed near the action, but not directly in it! He really loves to play and run around the fenced yard with puppy friends for a little bit but also is just as happy investigating on his own! He only just received his vaccines, so is now learning to walk on leash, and this is a work in progress for the little one. We believe he would do well in a positive reinforcement doggy training classes. He does have shorter legs so would not be an ideal candidate to be a running partner.
Vespy is a bit of a wall-flower and just goes with the flow. Time for play? Sure, he is in! Time for a nap? Cool, he is down. Don’t get him wrong though, he does love attention and praise, but he’s cool to get it whenever you have time. He’s not pushy for your love.
He still needs your help with housetraining, and his person will need to ensure he gets frequent breaks outside. He will benefit from a home that will provide him with structure as he does great knowing his schedule. We know he would love to spend his days hanging with his people, maybe a retired couple or work from home (or hybrid) set-up. He is good in his crate, but will cry and bark when he needs out or hears a noise.
Vesper is a chill boy, looking for a best buddy who would like to just hang out, play and go for little adventures. He is a pretty happy guy and wants to bring that happiness wherever he goes.
