Meet Zion! This absolutely lovable gem of a dog is looking for his forever family – could that be you?

Zion’s favourite thing is life is snuggles, followed by having an emotional support shoe or slipper. He is very affectionate and constantly wants to be at your side and on your lap. As soon as you sit on the couch, he is right beside you with a paw on you, looking for affection.

He can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. Zion loves to take a shoe/slipper and bring it to his bed, but he wont chew on it, it seems to be just for emotional support. Zion loves to be part of the action! He often follows his foster family around the house and will sit where everyone is hanging out.

Zion currently lives with children ages 4, 8, 12, 15 and does wonderfully with them, he is truly a family dog. Zion also lives with a cat and pays it no mind at all, so a dog savvy cat would be no problem for Zion. Zion prefers controlled intros to other dogs, but is currently great pals with a 50lb husky.

Zion is medium energy, but does enjoy the occasional zoomie session! He loves to run super fast around the yard! He walks great on leash and doesn’t pull but can be cautious in new surroundings. A confident forever family can help him navigate the big world and reassure him he’s safe now.

Zion is house trained and crate trained and can be left for a full work day, provided he gets appropriate exercise before and after work. Zion is working on “sit” and “Come” and doing wonderfully. Zion is great in the car and has not has any car sickness.
