Sierra

Sierra is as unique as her ears. She loves to be close but not in an invasive way, if you’re eating she will gentle rest her head on your leg or if you’re sitting watching TV and she wants attention she will sit with her face an inch or two from your face until you recognize her and pet her. Sierra is a wonderful little dog with so much character, she is scared in new situations and with new people but once she warms up and she trusts you, you will have a buddy for life.

Sierra loves dogs and they really give her confidence. She would love to have a confident dog buddy in the home. Sierra previously lived with cats but does not now, with slow intros and a dog savvy cat she could live with a cat. Sierra gets nervous around new people, she would prefer to have older children in her forever home. Sierra is a medium energy girl, while walks are still scary for her she does still like to run around the backyard and go for short walks.

Sierra is fully potty and crate trained. She can do a full workday in her crate without an issues, so long as there is a yummy treat involved Sierra will run right into her crate. Sierra needs a family who will be patient with her and show her the world isn’t so scary. She has a lot of potential but needs some confidence boosting to be the best dog she can be. Sierra does not like the car yet but with practice she will grow to enjoy the car more.

Sierra is not perfect but for the right family she will be. She is sweet and kind and so affectionate and really just wants to love and have that love returned.
