View allWho Are We?
We are an Ontario-and-Quebec-based dog rescue run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to help dogs in local shelters who have no other options. We do not discriminate based on breed, sex, age or medical condition as our mission is to help the dogs who need us most.
Donate
Donations are fundamental to our rescue. Without continued monetary support, our rescue could not survive. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to ensure that our dogs receive the best care as well as to secure our ability to continue saving the most vulnerable dogs in our communities.
Adopt
Thinking about adopting a dog? Sit With Me helps a wide variety of dogs of all sizes and breeds and have multiple dogs available for adoption at any given time.
Volunteer
Sit With Me is a 100% volunteer run organization so having a good network of volunteers is crucial to our existence. We often need volunteers to help with events, online auctions and more hands on roles like transporting dogs.
Foster
Sit With Me is always in need of foster homes. If you would like to become a foster home for Sit With Me Rescue or learn about the process, please email us and we will be happy to answer your questions.
Bricklin is home!
After being adopted out in Newfoundland, Bricklin felt like his happily ever after had finally happened. But Bricklin’s new dad, Andrew, suddenly and tragically passed away. Bricklin was left broken hearted and without a home. Thanks to many folks and a lot of caring people, today this happy guy is living it up with his new foster (and now forever) family after they fell in love and opted to keep this sweetheart around.
